A federal jury in Easton awarded an Allentown woman $270,000 Tuesday, finding Allentown police used excessive force when they arrested her in 2016 for refusing to allow officers to search her home without a warrant.
Charlene Klein, who is 4-feet-11 inches tall and was about 50 years old at the time of her arrest, said police threw her across a concrete wall, causing injuries that required surgery, according to her complaint in U.S. District Court.
